Tämän päivän aiheena on runon kielikuvat. Lukukirjan sivuilla 146-147 löytyy runot "Kuka lohduttaisi nyytiä" ja "Kun murehdit". Lue ensin nämä runot ja tee sivulta 147 tehtävät 1 ja 5. ja palauta nämä vastaukset tämän viikon perjantaihin klo 16.00 mennessä. Tämän päivän sivulla olevaan palautuskansioon! 

Äidinkieli 5 
Tänään otamme haltuun pää- ja sivulauseet. Lyhykäisyydessään idea on tämä: 
1. Päälause on lause, joka on sellaisenaan ymmärrettävä. Päälause voi esiintyä joko yksinäislauseena tai osana yhdyslausetta.
2. Sivulause taas on lause, joka on ymmärrettävä vain päälauseen yhteydessä. 
Lue ensin "Kirje isältä" -kertomus sivulta 126 ja tee päälausetehtävät 1 ja 2 lukukirjan sivulta 128 sekä sivulausetehtävät 3 ja 4 sivulta 129 . Palauta vastauksesi tämän sivun palautuslaatikkoon tämän viikon perjantaihin 27.3. klo 16.00 mennessä.

Today we will learn what UNESCO is all about and what does it have to do with Finland!
First, we need to understand what UNESCO stands for. The following definition is from wikipedia:
A World Heritage Site is a landmark or area, selected by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for having cultural, historical, scientific or other form of significance, which is legally protected by international treaties. The sites are judged to be important for the collective and preservative interests of humanity.

First there are two listening exercises for you to do. The first one is on page 134 (exercise 6) and the other can be found from page 137 (exercise 14). The audios for these exercises are here:
