Meeting in Palermo

Four students and two teachers from Ivalo upper secondary school will participate in the project meeting in Palermo, Nov 7 - 11, 2016. Students will stay in families, getting familiar with ordinary life in the Sicilian city and school. This is the preliminary programme for the week:

- Arrival and transfer airport-BED and Breakfast/host families’ (teachers via Giacalone – students at families)

MONDAY 7^TH

8.30	Welcoming - visiting school and meeting other students; teachers meet principal.
9.30	socializing games around the city centre with Mr Bellanti ? - Teachers’ meeting
12.00	visiting the City Hall and meeting Consulta delle Culture and School board chairwoman
13.30	Lunch: Street Food

19.00	dinner with families

TUESDAY 8TH

8.30	Visit: The Norman palace (€2,00 ea. for students)
11.30	Conference introducing people and culture of our area: Prof. Santo Lambino
12. 30	Legal aspects on Migration: Prof.ssa Rosalba De Caro
13.30	lunch break
14.30	Brief meeting to prepare questions for interviews
15.30	free afternoon
19.00	dinner with families

11.30	Santa Chiara - local hosting centre for visit and interviews

15.00	concert Asante - meeting and interviewing musicians

THURSDAY 10TH

8.00	TRIP TO AGRIGENTO (Ancient Greek Temples) and to PROTO EMPEDOCLE (meeting groups who welcome refugee ships in arrival)

12.00	Visiting the Radio and first broadcast
13.30	Lunch and free afternoon
