Basic use

Learning tracking

The learning tracking tool makes it possible for the teacher to monitor their students’ progress through the book’s exercises. The students can likewise use the tool to study an overview of their progress.

Only certain exercises have been selected for the learning tracking tool. The teacher can also add more exercises to the learning tracking tool by follow these steps: Open the exercise → Click “Modify” → Open the “Settings” menu → Tick the boxes below “Display in learning tracking tools” → Click “Save”.

The structure and features of the book

  • The structure of a Peda.net e-book is hierarchical. The menu on the left side of the page displays the chapters of the book, which can branch out into several subpages.
  • The book supports all the functionalities of the Peda.net platform.
  • Navigating backwards is easy thanks to the breadcrumb trail found on the top of the page.

Exercise and evaluation views

The teacher can examine the students’ answers by using the following functions:

  • Responses: This function can be used to examine individual responses given to an exercise. The “Responses” function also contains a comment function, which can be used for discussions between the student and the teacher regarding the exercise.
  • Summary: This function can be used to examine all the responses given to an exercise.
  • View evaluations: This view displays a table that shows all the exercises completed by the students and their evaluations.
  • Learning tracking: This tool can be used to monitor the progress of the students throughout the whole course. The learning tracking tool displays the number of tasks completed by their students and their evaluation status.

When the course ends – unlimited usage

  • After the study period for the book is over, the books are archived on the Peda.net servers. The book links ordered by the students remain in their possession. The teacher loses their administrator status to the book when the book is archived.
  • If a teacher wants to continue using their modified version of the book on subsequent courses, e-Oppi can create a copy of the book for teaching use during the next license period.
