Session 3 consists of 4 lectures. This session discusses the third frame from Bolman and Deal's book: the political frame. Power is the key word in this frame. First you will learn the definition of power and later the dynamics of power in the organization. From political perspective, there are different interest groups within the organization fighting for their own benefits and goals. Therefore, the main role of the leader is to understand these tensions, to manage the conflicts, as well as to establish good networks within and out of the organization.
