Sustainability is Everyone's responsability 2016-2020.

There is an optional subject called "International Relations" for 8th graders in our school. The aim of this subject is to raise cultural awareness, enhance global questions and underline exchange, understanding and tolerance between cultures and people in general. In order to put these questions in action the school takes part in an Erasmus+ - project called Sustainability is Everyone's responsability. The project takes two years and is mastered by Croatia. Other participating countries are Poland, France and Portugal.
Our school's main coordinator was Ms. Veera Toivonen and teachers involved were: Ms. Nina Sumi-Iivonen, Ms. Kirsi-Marja Puhakka and Ms. Noora Vuorenmaa.

We also did a virtual mobility week in February 2021. It was one of a kind - week and taught us so many new ways to communicate, learn and interact. Thanks Croatia for hosting, thanks Erasmus+ Finland for letting us to use our resources for this kind of week. Students were full of joy and excitement during the whole week. Ms. Noora Vuorenmaa was in charge of the week together with Ms. Veera Toivonen. The best work was done of course by our students - who learned a lot and had memories of a lifetime.
