Thirty seven pupils of the 5th grade of our school made a historical research about the development of  navigation in Greece from ancient times until today.

• During their History Class they learned about the different types of ships  starting from the ancient ships without sails and the Athenian trireme, reaching today.   

 

• They invited one of their classmates' father who is working on ships and took an interview from him.
• They visted the Hellenic Maritime Museum and they worked hard with the support of their Art teacher  "building" their own ships. ( Cross-Curricular approach)
