Matkapäiviin mahtui toki muutakin kuin joogaa. Lauantaina Chris vei meidät Santa Cruzista koilliseen Igueste de San Andrésin kylään, josta lähtee useita kävelyreittejä ylös vuorille. 

Naturally, there was more to the travelling days than just yoga. On Saturday, Chris took us northeast of Santa Cruz to the village of Igueste de San Andrés from where several hiking trails start up into the mountains.



Näköalat ylhäältä olivat upeita. Lähdimme liikkeelle aamulla. Iltapäivällä palatessa aurinko paistoi jo kuumasti. 

The views from the top were amazing. We set off in the morning. When we returned in the afternoon, the sun was already shining hot.

Santa Cruzista siirryimme loman viettoon saaren pohjoispuolelle Garachikoon. Joulunajan vietimme ekologisella farmilla Güímarissa.

From Santa Cruz, we moved to Garachiko on the north side of the island to spend the holidays there. We spent the Christmas season at an ecological farm in Güímar.
