Nordplus Junior hankkeen idea, yhtymäkohtia LYYTIin:
"In this project we focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and worklife in an international perspective. During three class exchanges students from Finland, Lithuania and Denmark will learn about industries in the different countries and get an insight into possible future areas of study and work within the science field.
The students will also be introduced to the international aspects of a career within the STEM subjects and they will practice these skills when working with participants from different countries during the mobilities. This will give the participants experiences with intercultural understanding and teamwork which will be a vital skill to have in a future career in an international company but also on the more general level as a global citizen.
The participating teachers will make sure that the content will be closely connected to the national curriculums so that the activities 1) form an integrated part of the students education and 2) can be used as inspiration for new content and methods for the teaching with in science at each school. "
