Last time we made a list of some historical sources and discussed a little about the problems that every source has. This is called "source criticism" (= lähdekritiikki). Basicly you are asking: can you trust this information or at least some parts of it?  

When you search information from the internet, you should ask the same question all the time: can you trust? These are also valid questions for TikTok, YouTube etc. videos. Check out these things:

• Who is offering the information? Just some random person, a commercial company, some politian, University, a teacher?
• What is the purpose, why information is offered? Why the webpage has been made? Why is the video made? Motive?
• Does the site or video show its informations sources?
• Can YOU find the information from other sources too?
