Icelandic food - Iida and Noora

(Muokattu: )
We got to know the Icelandic food and food culture in daily life. We got our food served by breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack, but we also got breakfast in the families if we wanted.

Breakfast was usually cereals, porridge or different kind of fruits. The students have to pay for the school food, because there is own cook and the kitchen in the school. Because of that the food was more like home made food than the Finnish school food is.

The Icelandics eat sheep, fish, chicken and many kind of soups. They don't use potatoes in the soups like we do. The food is quite spicy but not too much. In our opinion the food was strange and different, and we didn't especially like it. Some of the food we prefered to others. The food was better in the families than in the school. Jari asked to write that the lamb was better there than anywhere else.
