Hot water - Adele and Josefiina
In Iceland we saw a lot of places warmed by geotermic hot water. For example most of icelandic houses are warmed by hot water. The place we stayed in Iceland is called Varmaland. It is also warmed by hot water. In English the Varmaland means warm land. The water that comes to Varmaland comes from 30 kilometers away and it gets colder while it comes to Varmaland. The school had their own swimming pool outside. Which is common in Iceland. Because of the geothermic energy there was greenhouses next to school. It was really warm inside of the greenhouses. Icelanad produces all of their vegetables by theirselves. One day we visited in Blue Lagoon. They use hot water for warming the water of Blue Lagoon. The place was nice and very differend than Finnish view. It was an interesting experience and worth of visiting.
