Domestic animals - Hilla and Veera

(Muokattu: )
There are lots of domestic animals in the Icelandic farms. For example they have sheep, Icelandic horses and goats. In Iceland only Icelandic horses are allowed because they want to keep the breed clean. We saw many domestic animals when we visited in Iceland because almost all of the families have them. The families have not goats so we visited in a goat farm. In the goat farm we got to taste ice cream which was made from goat milk. There were also sausage which was made from goat but only Sofia tasted it, so we can't say was it good or not. The ice cream was really different than in Finland but nevertheless OK. There were some chickens and sheep in the goat farm too. The smell in the farm was bit of weird because we hadn't got used to it. :) Icelandic people have also other animals like dogs and cats and lots of other pets. Some dogs are used as sheepdogs because some families have hundreds of sheep and getting them back home from mountains could be hard without dogs and Icelandic horses.
