The Parents' Assosiacion Board on March 2025 - summary
The last meeting of the Parents' Association Board, open to all parents, was held on March 10, 2025 at 5:30 PM using a hybrid model: both on-site at the school and via Google Meet.
Principal Taina thanks the Parents' Association for purchasing certificate folders. The Parents' Association has purchased 200 folders for the school. The folders will be distributed to all students who have not yet received one. The municipality of Mäntsälä has stopped distributing certificate folders.
The school's spring party is on May 28.
May 20 is the school's orientation day, where the Parents' Association will introduce itself. Vice-chair Taru will say a few words and introduce the activities of the Parents' Association.
The search for scholarship sponsors is underway. The Parents' Association is asking donors from the previous year to join and to challenge new companies to join.
The school will pay for the smile sculptures for the time being and the parents' association will focus on purchasing materials for break time.
The spring disco will be held on April 28. The secretary of the association will write a short summary of the disco and ask school secretary Hanna to distribute the summary to the guardians of the students in Wilma.
A multidisciplinary inspection of the school environment was held in January and a representative of the parents' association was also present. The school will communicate any findings to homes and how to correct them.
A reading challenge is underway in April, where students are encouraged to read and the parents' association rewards diligent reading.
Outi and Tomi will participate in the joint meeting of the parents' associations on March 20.
At the April meeting, the school photo studio will be elected for the academic years 2025-2026, 2026-2027 and 2027-2028.
The April meeting will be held on April 14. The invitation will be sent through Wilma.
