Risti School (Ristin koulu) is a primary school located in Virkkala, in southern part of Lohja. There are currently 11 classes ranging from 1st to 6th grade. There are 210 students in Risti School with 14 teachers, 5 School Assistants, the Head of School, and a School Secretary. A Pre -school operates in the same premises with the school. The school house is a 1950s stone building expanded in brick in 1990s. Most of the students live near Virkkala centre, in detached houses or apartment buildings. More than 25% of the student live further away from the school and use the school transportation services.
