The song 'Rather be' is about being truly present with someone special, and enjoying the place and situation where u are at. The song is kind of a love song but it doesn't seem like one. The melody, the tempo and the backround music are perky and fresh, unlike in other common love songs. Most love songs are like pallads. Thats why I found this song very interesting and enjoyable.

I have been listening this song for so long and I still can't get enough of it. It's hard to get bored with this song. I think it's funny that a part of 'Rather be' was used in many tiktok memes earlier, but the song isn't still overplayed.

The song is made by Clean Bandit which is a British electric music band. I like that there has been used instrumental sounds in this song. A word "kyoto" was new for me, but apparently Kyoto is a city in Japan.
