Job applications, CVs and job interviews
What to do
This week:
1. Choose the vacancy everybody in the group want to apply for. (On Track 6, p. 174)
2. Write a cover letter and a CV. See instructions and a model CV on p. 175-176 (everyone writes their own letter & CV)
3. Share your cover letter (application) and CV with the group that will interview you for the job
Next week:
1. Interview the applicants from the other group as the human resources team of the company they have decided to apply for a job at
-> read through their applications/CVs first, think of the questions, conduct the interview, decide who gets the job
2. Participate in the job interview of the "opposing" group with the rest of your group (you are competing for the same job)
-> share your application and CV with the human resources team (the other group), be prepared to tell them why you are the best applicant, answer any questions they want to ask you in the interview
