What is your personal profile space (referred as PPS here):

• PPS is a personal learning environment, that is controlled by a learner
• Learner has a possibility to network with other users, share and publish content and maintain a personal portfolio
• Learner can edit his/her PPS
• PPS is a part of a new Peda.net service
• PPS is developed in a cooperation of Finnish National Board of Education, city of Jyväskylä and university of Jyväskylä.

• PPS is established for a life-time as long as the service is maintained by the university of Jyväskylä.
• PPS combines the formal learning with informal learning outside the conventional learning environments.
• Learner has an access to all the content ever created to his or her PPS, thus maintaining the created data accumulated during the study path.

• PPS is completely free of charge

• PPS is not dependent upon a hardware nor software, and it does not require any additional software installations.

Using PPS does not have an age limit, but children under 15 years must have a guardian's permission when registering to Peda.net and deploying their own PPS.
