Radio button

Radio button

The “Radio button” form field is a tool that allows the participant to select only one option out of multiple alternatives. The options can be given different point values, and the participant can see their points total after saving their responses. The form’s creator can examine the responses of participants one by one or as a summary.

Radio button: editing and examining responses

1. When modifying a form, click on the text field and write the instructions for your task. After doing so, click on the ”Radio button” option from the form field menu. A code that reads “[[o:s=0]] Radio button label” will appear in the text field.

2. Add a point value and a label to your radio button:
  • Replace the number that follows “s=” with the point value. The radio button will give this number of points if it is selected.
  • Write a label for your radio button.
3. You can add multiple radio buttons to a form and use them to create interesting tasks. The participant will select one of these radio buttons and click “Save”.

4. After saving their answers, the participant will see the results of their responses. They will see how many points they got, as well as the total number of points available from the form.

5. You can examine the participants’ responses to a form by clicking on the ”Responses” button.
