Text

The “Text” tool can be used to easily create and import content to a Peda.net page. The text can be formatted, and you can also add images, tables, links and embed codes.

The ”Text” tool is useful everywhere, whether you are a teacher making a course page or a user creating content to their profile’s personal workspace.

Creating a text module

1. In edit mode, click on the “Text”icon to create a new text module.

2. Write the name of the text module in the “Title” field and its actual content to the “Content” field. You can also add attachments and allow commenting on the text field. Remember to click on the “Save” or “Save as draft” button after you are finished.

3. You will be redirected back to the module’s host page.

Editing the contents of a text module:

1. You can begin editing the contents of a text module by clicking on the “Content” field.
  • A toolbar will pop up.
  • The top of the toolbar contains pull-down menus full of different functions. The bottom of the tool bar consists of quick buttons for the most widely used functions.
2. Choose the function you want to use, click on it, and follow the instructions.

3. When you want to format text, click and drag the cursor over the text you want to format. Then, click on the ”Format” tab on the toolbar and select the formatting you want to add.
The best way to learn the functions of the text tool is to try out different things by yourself.
