Hakemukset alkavalle kaudelle (1.6.2025–31.7.2026) tehdään hyvissä ajoin ennen erityisruokavaliota tarvitsevan henkilön päiväkodin tai koulun aloittamista. Jokaista kautta varten tehdään uusi hakemus. Linkki WWW-sivujen lomakkeelle avautuu toukokuussa. Vanhat todistukset eivät ole enää voimassa 1.8.2025 alkaen. Jos uutta hakemusta ei ole tullut 20.9.2025 mennessä, niin ruokavalion valmistus loppuu.

Erityisruokavalio voidaan tilata, kun lapsella on todettu ruoka-allergia, joka aiheuttaa merkittäviä tai hengenvaarallisia oireita. Edellytämme lääkärintodistusta, kun on kysymys yksilöllisestä tai moniallergisen päiväkotilapsen tai oppilaan erityisruokavaliosta. Jos lapsellasi on voimassa oleva lääkärintodistus tai allergiat eivät ole muuttuneet, niin riittää, että lähetätte huoltajan allekirjoitetun version lääkärintodistuksesta päivättynä Köökkiin. Kirjoittakaa selkeästi käykö allergisoiva raaka-aine raakana/ kypsänä, mausteena tai E-koodin takana.

ORDERING A SPECIAL DIET FOR THE PERIOD 1 JUNE 2025–31 JULY 2026

Applications for the following period (1 June 2025–31 July 2026) are submitted well in advance before the person in need of a special diet begins going to a day care centre or a school. A new application is made for each period. The link to the web page form opens in May. Old certificates will no longer be valid as of 1 August 2025. If no new application has been submitted by 20 September 2025, the preparation of this diet will end.

You can order a special diet when the child has been diagnosed with a food allergy that causes significant or life-threatening symptoms. We require a medical certificate for individual special diets and special diets of multi-allergic children that go to a day-care centre or a school. If your child has a valid medical certificate or the allergies have not changed, it is sufficient that you send the medical certificate, dated and signed by the guardian, to the Köökki kitchen. Write clearly whether the allergenic ingredient can be served raw/cooked or as a spice or food additive (E number).

Lohja's food services follow the Finnish Allergy Programme (2008–2018), according to which mild allergy symptoms, such as temporary oral irritation, itching or redness of the mouth, should no longer be treated by avoiding them, but by exposure and gradual desensitisation. In other words, there is no need to apply for a special diet because of ingredients that cause mild allergies.

The regular food is lactose-free. Lacto-ovo vegetarian food (vegetarian meal) is available as a self-service in school canteens and it is also freely available as an addition to the regular meal. If you always eat vegetarian food, apply for it using the SPECIAL DIET ORDER form so that we can prepare for the correct quantities on special days, for example.

• When pork is served as a regular meal, a vegetarian meal (lacto-ovo) is available as an option
• An oat drink is available for those allergic to dairy
• Vegetarian food can be ordered at day care centres, and it is available in schools as an alternative to regular meals
• Vegan food can be ordered with a special diet form in all units
• A new application for a special diet is always submitted if there are changes to its contents. The previous application will be deleted when the new one arrives.

 

• Notifications of absence are made by email or by calling the kitchen of the school or the day care centre
• If the special diet meal is not eaten on several (10 weekdays) consecutive days, the kitchen will stop preparing the meal.
