Renowed University of Jyväskylä and versatile JAMK University of Applied Sciences together with large vocational and general upper secondary schools attract students from all over the world. It is therefore not surprising that the educational institutes in Jyväskylä have students from more than hundred different countries.
The easiest way to reach Jyväskylä is to first travel to Helsinki and then take a train connection to Jyväskylä. Some flight connections between Helsinki and Jyväskylä are also available. The railway and bus station "Travel Centre" is located right in the town centre, close to hotels and the conference venue Paviljonki.
Arriving by train, bus or a ferry
