exercise 5c p. 43

ALBERT: I need to move out! My parents told me that I’m old enough to live on my own (asumaan itsekseni).
ROSA: Oh dear. Living with your parents has always suited your nature (on aina sopinut luonteellesi).
ALBERT: I know, it has been perfect for me! No laundry, no cleaning, no cooking. When I come home, dinner is waiting and I can head straight for the table (voin suunnata suoraan pöytään).
ROSA: You really have been living the single person's dream (olet elänyt sinkkuihmisen unelmaa). You have even had time to take up interesting new hobbies (alkaa harrastaa mielenkiintoisia uusia harrastuksia).
ALBERT: And talking about hobbies... My parents have always insisted on paying (ovat aina vaatineet (saavansa) maksaa) for my surfing lessons, but now they want me to do that as well!
ROSA: When do you need to move?
ALBERT: Next week! Rosa, do you promise to come over (lupaatko tulla käymään), even if I have to move to a tiny apartment?
ROSA: Of course. I’ll come as soon as you have moved to check how you are getting on (tarkastaakseni kuinka sinä pärjäät).
ALBERT: Great! I knew I could trust you. But I can’t believe my parents are kicking me out.
ROSA: Well, to be honest, you’re 42; maybe it’s time you moved out.
ALBERT: Maybe you are right…
