is an adult education staff mobility project related to the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. In this project we at Vakka-opisto aim at updating the skills of our staff, increasing our international activity, acquiring new ideas and practices, thus comprehensively developing the course supply in our institution. 

In this project we focus on sustainable development and well-being as well as developing the teaching in the sectors of handicrafts, language teaching and physical education. Originally the project was supposed to last for two years (1.8.2020-31.7.2022), but we were given an extra year, due the covid-19 situation. The project finishes on 31.7.2023 and it includes 18 mobilities, 5 job shadowing and 13 course type of learning mobilities. Those who participate the mobilities are all working as teachers or within administration in our institution. 

During this project our staff members who take part in the mobilities create networks linked to adult education, learn about organizations in other countries, how they work and face today's challenges in terms of education, and find ways to improve sustainability and well-being. International experience provides more tools to respond to future demands.
