Ella Pitkäranta työskentelee Tiedon jäljillä-hankkeessa viestintätehtävissä. Hän on päävastuussa tämän nettisivun rakentamisesta sekä ylläpitämisestä. Hänen kotiyliopistonsa on Jyväskylän yliopisto, josta hän on valmistunut filosofian maisteriksi pääaineenaan englannin kieli.
