The Peda.net assessment tool comprises of two different components:

1. Assessment frameworks, which define the goals and criteria of assessments.
2. Assessment modules, which are used to collect goals and criteria from assessment frameworks for evaluation.

The assessment tool can be used for the teacher’s evaluation of the student, the student’s self-evaluation, or for both. The teacher can see all evaluations and self-evaluations on their course page. The students can see all evaluations that concern themselves but cannot see the evaluations concerning other students.
