Moi, minä olen Ben, normaalisti asun Saksassa ja tänä vuonna olin vaihto-oppilas Muuramen lukiossa!

Living with a family near Korpilahti, one of the most exciting years of my life began - in a country far from home, across the Baltic Sea, known for happy people and endless lakes: Finland!
All of it started right here at Muuramen Lukio. When the year began, I had no idea how many amazing friends and unforgettable moments were waiting for me.

My first school day at Muuramen Lukio was pretty interesting. It was the first time I was surrounded by complete strangers, all speaking a language I could barely understand. But Aki introduced me in the auditorium, and I got recognized by the first few students - a couple of really nice people, who later became my friends, started introducing themselves and the school to me!
And the rest of the year, school was actually a lot of fun. During breaks, we often spent time in Kenno together, and it was a nice place to relax and talk.
Psychology turned out to be a really interesting subject, and I enjoyed diving into the topics we covered - especially because it's something we don't have as a subject in Germany, so I enjoyed it even more!
Throughout the year, I learned a lot - not just about Finland, but also about myself and how I deal with new situations.
And I think Muuramen Lukio was a great environment for this year that ended way too quickly!!! So, kiitos paljon for letting me stay here for this great year!
