Erasmus+ 2019-2022 youth4media

Participating countries:

Germany (Fritzlar), Spain (Montijo), Italy (San Miniato), Poland (Wroclaw) and Finland (Laitila)

Erasmus+ -project is a project including mobilities of the students. The project is financed by the European Commission and it lasts for two years. The name of our project is youth4media and the main coordinator is from Germany. The main purpose of our project is to make younger students aware of the pros and cons of the media through explanatory videos. First the students create a storyboard, then they draw the characters and symbols which appear on the tutorials. The videos are made by using “stop-motion” technique with added voices and effects. To guarantee the quality of the explanatory clips they are produced with the help of media experts. Creating the videos is exciting in multinational groups!

Due to the covid-19 not all the meetings could be organized as planned. The cooperation between the participating schools took place via online video meetings in the schoolyear 2020-2021. The original two-year project was prolonged until the end of the schoolyear 2022.

Online meetings 2020-2022

Due to the covid-19 pandemic all the mobilities since the autumn 2020 until March 2022 had to be cancelled. The original plans how to carry out the project had to be postponed and the teachers and students were in contact with each other in several pre-arranged online meetings. The students were given different topics to prepare beforehand and they gave presentations on the topics in the meetings.
