Visit from Munich

Erasmus+ -project: Food Traditions in Finland and Germany

At the end of March we had visit from Munich. 16 students and 2 teachers from Hermann Frieb Realschule had an Erasmus- project with us. The theme was about Finnish and German food traditions. Totally 33 students ,17 from our school, participated to the project. The German students lived with host families in Kouvola.

We had a great week together. We discussed the food theme at school and had a lot fun outside the school. At one afternoon we were bowling, an other we were playing basketball. On Saturday we took a trip to Kotka and visited Vellamo-center. On Tuesday evening we arranged a farewell party to our guests and their host families.

We all were very pleased with everything that happend during the project week. The students got new friends, they learned about intercultural differences and worked as one group of european youth. We are looking forward to continue our magnificent cooperation in autum.
