Environmentally aware and Participating School Community

After the successful KA1-project it felt natural to apply for KA122-project to enable mobility for students and teachers. Since we have a good partnership with a German school we wish to continue co-operating with them and give our students a chance to visit them. We wish to get new perspectives by enabling our staff to participate in job shadowing and courses abroad. This is vital for our school community to develop and reach our goals and help us get new contacts with European schools.

The three major goals have been chosen according to the needs and focus areas of our school. With the help of this project, we wish to develop our school community towards being more environmentally aware and more appreciative of foreign cultures languages. We aim to engage students in studying and make them feel appreciated in the school community. We are hoping to expand the amount of our international contacts and to make internationalism a natural part of our everyday life at school.

The students will become more environmentally aware and responsible, which will also have a positive effect on their own wellbeing. The students will comprehend the importance of studying languages: thus there will be more students who choose to start studying foreign languages at B2-level. The students will feel better at school, they will take responsibility for their studies and take part in school activities. Last but not least, our school will gain new international contacts.
