Church Wedding
I’m an angel standing on the wall round the church. Some days ago I watched a wedding. I saw a lovely bride in her white wedding-dress linked arms with her husband. Together they went into the church. When they walked down to the aisle, I turned round, blinked at them and blessed them silently.
Another church wedding
I’m standing as a statue on the wall round our church. Every day I can see a lot of cars passing. Many days pass without fascinating events, but it’s very interesting to look at important feasts. During the services at church I turn round and watch what’s going on into the church. So, I’ve already seen a lot of feasts: baptisms, first holy communions, confirmations and wedding.
I can remember very well the wedding last month. The lovely bride in her long white robe and the bridegroom in his beautiful suit looked very happy. The flowergirls had thrown a lot of flowers on the way to the entrance. They smelled the sweet aroma. There were so many people inside the church that some didn’t find a seat. Only at major church holidays I can see as many people inside the church.
The service was framed by amazing music. Afterwards photos were taken of the newly married couple. On some of them you can see me and some other statues on wall. All of us are created by the famous sculptor Ferdinand-Dietz.
