When we arrived, pretty much the first thing we did was eat. I had some gyros, and after I was done eating, I was completely stuffed. I felt like I wasn’t going to eat for a while. After that, I went to the host family’s house. They were really nice. The mother didn’t speak as good english as the others, but I managed. One day we went to the beach and swam in the ocean. I knew the ocean water is salty, but after accidentally letting some in my mouth, I thought I had a lifetime worth of salt in my mouth. We also went for some ice cream. There were a lot of ice cream places in Rhodes. All in all, I had a great time.
