Sports facilities where your PE lessons take place

Urheilutalo = Sports Hall = The red building next to our school

Vesikko = Indoor swimming pool close to Areena.

Kolmiolenkki = The ”triangle” (sand roads for walking, cycling and in winter ski tracks, in the woods behind Vesikko)

Keskuskenttä = Central sports field (in front of Areena)

Joensuu Areena = The huge indoor sports hall next to Vesikko

Jäähalli = Indoor ice rink . (Entrance on the side of Laulurinne)

Louhelan kenttä = Louhela sports field (sandy area, includes an ice rink in winter), in front of the indoor ice rink.

Pesäpallostadion = Finnish baseball stadium, behind Vesikko and Areena (the backs of the red stands of the stadium can be seen between Vesikko and Areena)

Mehtimäen jalkapallotekonurmi. = Football field with artificial grass. Access along the cycling lane situated between Areena and Jäähalli (indoor ice rink). Once you reach the skate park, take a sharp left, then take the next turn to the right and you reach the gates of the field.

Beachvolley- ja tenniskentät. = Beach volley and tennis courts, to the left of Mehtimäki football field.

Tennishalli = Indoor tennis hall: a grey and red hall behind the beach volley courts. Entrance on the side of the indoor ice hockey rink.

Kuntokeidas: A big (red) brick building for indoor sports such as bowling, padel, badminton, gym etc. Between the tennis hall and racetrack.  

Kirkkopuiston fribeegolf = The disc golf round of Kirkkopuisto: Behind the Evangelic Lutheran Church. Starting point for the round is in the corner of the parking lot, next to the kindergarten.
