Rich cultural heritage is important part of both Finnish and German identities. For example important buildings, works of art, books, landscapes and folklore have special place in our cultures. Your job is to produce a short film where you present us your version of parts of our cultures.

We do this in two parts: first part in Finland and second in Germany.

1. Familiarize yourself with something you find interesting in Finnish cultural heritage (when we are in Germany we do this the other way around). It can be for example myths, mythical people or creatures, customs or mix of all of these.

2. Research your topic and produce a short film where you present your findings and/or ideas. If you want to, you can do a very informative film or maybe something more artistic or funny. For example you can do a research about Finnish sauna culture by reading about it and going to sauna or you can make film about how well Krampus could tolerate the heat of Finnish sauna. It is your choice.
