How much we, Finnish and German people have in common? We can start to build the bridge between us finding when and where our pasts intertwine together.
- Research the history of Finland and Germany. You can find easily events and different eras of our histories when we had some kind of a connection between our countries: for example Hanseatic League, Protestant Reformation and Second World War.
- You can decide yourself what event, era, etc. you want to study. The most important thing is that you find a connection from our history and think for example how that event shaped us both (for example did this event leave a permanent mark in our cultures).
- Prepare a presentation where you tell others about the event or era you decided to study and where you explain how it shaped us. Your presentation can be whatever you like: typical PowerPoint-presentation, a short-film, a play or something totally different.
