MEETING IN BUDAPEST 27th – 31st March 2017

MEETING MINUTES

  • work plans to upload on the drive: at least 4 teaching activities for each partner, including evaluation grids and pupils’ evaluations report : deadline defined in Poland : December 31st 2016
    Still plenty of work plans missing : DEADLINE postponed to May 15th , 2017

  • GOOGLE DRIVE reorganization: materials shared properly and in order using the following address contest.inout@gmail.com

  • Clearly defined folders into this new DRIVE: one for each country. Materials have to be collected inside each folder dividing them in 3 different ones:
    1. mother language and
    2. English version of the teaching activity provided with assessment grids to be used;
    3.video materials ; (each teaching activity gives the title to the main folder). Please add the balance report of the teaching activities you proposed to the students, example grids, to be adapted as deliberated in Poland, are provided.
  • ART/PHOTO LAB: DEADLINE 8th May 2017 delivery of the partners’ photographs to Italian school to organize the slide-show.
    - Photo-show via projector to show the pictures during SCHOOL dinner on Friday night

    - Partners defined the need of preparatory activities (collection of ideas and suggestions) for the realization of significant photos responding to the indications given in GERMANY, before coming to Italy
    - each child produces 2 photos (10 each team to Lucilla): 1 related to the environment and 1 transmitting wellbeing /inclusive emotions. The team indicates which two among them will be shown during the CONTEST exhibition and they will be plasticized by the Italian team’
    - They will be in an A4 format
    - The environmental photo has caption indicating the place represented
    - The emotional has a TITLE/caption/quotation giving the idea of the emotion aroused.
    - The students in Italy: will choose a single picture of each kind (environmental/emotional) they took during the lab, will give it a caption/title and it will be shown in the exhibition CONTEST IN ITALY part.

  • NATURE LAB: The partners will produce PPT presentations lasting not more than 10/12 minutes.
    - Finland and Italy prepare experiments
    - EXPERIMENT: List of materials glue, packaging material; toothpicks
    - Each team accompanies its slide show with a simple questionnaire the children will answer at the end of the lab. Send in advance to Lucilla to prepare printing (AT LEAST 10 DAYS BEFORE) 6th MAY 2017

  • MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS: List of materials needed: recycling plastic bottles (water; tea; soap); paper/cardboard containers, bottle lids; seeds; beans; pebbles; rice; balloons; elastic bands; ice-cream sticks; bamboo skewers; sellotape; cutters and scissors; plastic spoons; kinder eggs; plastic containers; … and so forth
    - Music teachers will be present and will help the group to play the new instruments to mingle with the orchestra playing TIRITOMBA, every day

  • DANCING and SINGING and PLAYING music:

    - GIST: background wide screen showing a train moving from station to station, stopping at each partner’s country and pictures sent by the students will give the idea of the environment it is passing by. At each stop of the train, the linked team of teachers and students will come on the stage, greeting the public and moving behind the audience area (teachers will sit in a reserved area). Teachers and students will wear a common t-shirt with the CONTEST logo on, and on top of it they’ll wear a vest, indicating their country of origin, which will be taken off. When the last team as greeted the audience, from the back stage the first notes of Tiritomba are played then its modern lively version overcomes and the children start a flash mob on the stage and among the audience. At the end of the song they take a previously assigned position, standing behind the orchestra and start playing and singing the CONTEST version of TIRITOMBA, in the different partners’ languages and English

    - Prepare a modern MUSICAL version of Tiritomba and share it with the partners by the 13th April 2017, recording and uploading it in the GOOGLE DRIVE.

    - DANCE tutorial to be prepared and shared by the 3rd May 2017 (POLAND IS PREPARING IT) so the students will be easily taught where to move on the stage.

    - If more adults are needed to help train the group of children, we must know in advance in order to reorganize the internal time-table and teachers’ presence.

  • TIRITOMBA TEXT: to be sent in mother tongue/English version by the 3rd MAY 2017

  • Chosen refrains: WE ARE WALKING/ TRAVELLING ALL TOGETHER ALONG THE PATH OF LIFE

    ANYTHING CAN BE DONE IF WE ALL JUST JOIN OUR HANDS/ VOICES

  • The partners define the organization of the rotating labs in Italy for each students’ team (which will be) divided in two parts and labs will be held every day;

  • The partners define the following calendar of online meetings to let the students know each other before the mobility in Italy on the 16th May 2017. If the meeting cannot take place or connection problems force an adaptation, the involved partners will define a different calendar.

    If not otherwise defined, the darker printed country will invite the others of the group to the ZOOM video chat. PLEASE IGNORE if an agreement has already been reached among partners .
