The debate
A debate was organized in the discourse course, where we discussed issues like multiculturalism and immigration. Here are some feedback from the students after the debate:
- The debate was very intresting and opened my eyes to see the multifaceted topic. I got to know lot's of new facts about asylum centers and immigrants, that you don't hear on the normal lessons in the school. It was good to get three different viewpoints of this migration theme.
- The guests talked intresting and widely about their jobs and backrounds. It was nice to hear the asylum seeker's own experiences about his own country and how he ended up in Finland and how the life here in Finland has been for him.
