Sunday 16.4  

On Saturday evening we left at school 18.00. We went to the airport by bus and there we went to an airport hotel. We slept at the airport hotel because we had early wake up at Monday morning. 

Monday 17.4  

On Monday we woke up at 4.00 and went to the security check. After that we went to eat to cafe. We got to the airplane and the flight was 4hours. We arrived in Malaga and there we got but to Andujar. We met our families and spent time with them. 

Tuesday 18.4  

On tuesday morning we started working on our group projects. After that the school had prepared breakfast for us, churros and chocolate! After breakfast we had guided tour around Andujar and had a nice welcoming by the city counsil. When that was over, we went back to the school and had delicious vegetarian paella for lunch. After that we had our own free time. Some students for example went to shopping at the mall. 

Wednesday 19.4  

Our wednesday beginned at 8.15 when our group took a bus to the Sierra de Andujár Natural park. When we arrived to the natural park we started hiking from San Ginés to Lugar Nuevo. The hiking track was mostly gravel and the landscape was mountainous. We also visited few places of interest for example: memorial of Sierra De Andujár establisher and a bridge.  

After the hiking we took a bus to the sanctuary of the Virgen De La Cabeza. The sanctuary is one of the most important place in Andujár and the Romerio is celebrated every year at the sanctuary.  

After the visit to sanctuary we returned to Andujár and we had bunch of free time.  

Thursday 20.4  

On Thursday we went to Sierra de Cazorla Natural park. We left at school at 8.00. The bus drive took 2 hours there. And at Sierra de Cazorla we walked 9km. We saw much of beautiful turquoise water and admirable views. We ate packed lunch in the park and took a little brake from the walking. When we got back to the bus, we went to the cafeteria nearby. There many of us bought some soda and we just sat there and watched the views. Then was time to get back home. This time the bus drive took bit longer because we drove to see the lake. We were back at school at 17.00. Then we had free time after that. Some of students went home, but some of us stayed at the city centre and went shopping.  

Friday 21.4  

Group projects and presentations 

We started the day by finishing and presenting our work to the others, it was a great success 

Breakfast, bread 

Simple bread with olive oil and different meats, simply delicious 

Bee thing and lynx 

Walked way too long to be confused arriving at a honey centre when we were told we were going to see lynx’s after though we arrived at the lynx centre nextdoor where we saw a lynx sleeping, looked like a big cat 

Farewell lunch 

It was fun eating from a table with just a fork in hand, new experience 

Free time 

The students split into two groups the other going to eat dinner at a restaurant and the others going to cordoba, it was a really nice city with nice people 

Saturday 22.4  

Some of us woke up earlier than others, but all of us made it to the bus at 9:30. That was the time we left from Andujar. Before our departure, many of the host families were saying goodbyes to our Finnish group members. Tears weren’t far away from our faces. Unlike us, some of the Spanish people were actually crying.  

Then we started heading towards the airport of Malaga. To us travellers, the trip to Malaga wasn’t so bad but the bus driver had some problems. We got lost in the way and that’s why the bus trip took about one hour more than expected. 

We also had some problems at the airport. We had to switch some luggage between us Finnish students so the cases wouldn’t had been to heavy. And one of us had forgotten an oil bottle in their hand luggage so they had to leave it there. After the security check some of us went to the TaxFree and the others went finding food.  

After almost two hours of waiting we got inside of the plane. On the hole, the plane trip was very calm. Before we landed, we saw the sunset. We saw when the sun disappeared behind the horizon. Soon after that we landed. You could say that it was even worse than the landing in Malaga.  

We made it safely to Finland. We left from Helsinki by bus at 10.00 pm(22.00). We were in Forssa 23:30. Our magnificent trip ended to that.
