The title of the book and author, year.

Day 1.

• Why did you decide to read this book?
• How does it feel to start reading in English?
• Have you read books in English before?

Day 2

• tell something about the plot (=juoni). Read the back cover of the book. Who are the main characters (=hahmot) of the book? What are they like so far, how would you describe them? What is your opinion about the book during the reading?
• Is the book fictional or is it based on a true story? 

Day 3

• Who is the narrator of the book? Is it first person narrator (= I, someone of the characters) or is it third person narrator (someone outside the plot)?Is the narrator objective? Does the narrator have opinions about what happens? Does the narrator use adjectives, if so what are they like?
• Write about your reading experience. Is it easy to read this book in English? Is the book interesting? Have your feelings about reading this book changed during the reading?

Day 4

• Can you already name some of the themes of the book? What is it about, does it tell about something "bigger" than just the story itself? (A theme could something like racism, growing up etc..)
• Describe the setting and surroundings of the book; where does it all happen. Is it a real place?

Day 5

• What has happened in the book so far?

The end

• Was it difficult to read a whole book in English? Did you use a dictionary?
• Was the story interesting? What happened in the end?
• Does the book teach a lesson/does it have a message of some kind?
