Emily Jane Browning (born December 7, 1988 in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian actor whose most prominent roles are Katie Hardwood in the movie Aavelaiva (2002), Violet Baudelaire (2004) and In Babydoll (Sucker Punch, 2011.
Browning made his first film career for ten years in the television movie The Echo of Thunder in 1998. Alongside the movies he has appeared in the television series "After the Deluge" and "Evolution" in the music video "Light Surrounding You". Browning was a pre-author of Stephenie Meyer's favorite Bella Swan's role in the 2008 Twilight - Attracting Films and its sequels. Browning was asked to perform for a role soon after the filming of The Uninvited, but he refused to rely on the fatigue that followed the previous rollout. Kristen Stewart was chosen for Twilight.
