I chose to find some information about a diet called FodMap.

FodMap stands for Fermentable Oligo-, Di-, Mono-saccharides And Polyols. People with bowel diseases and/or problems usually follow this diet. It helps to prevent abdominal pain, and other symptoms.

Some athletes follow this diet, because it is a very light diet. I follow it too, because of my own bowel disease. Its gluten free, onion and garlic free, and a lactose free-diet. I started to follow it two years ago, when I was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome, shortly IBS. My disease symptoms get worse when I’m stressed, in hurry or feeling bad mentally or physically.

This diet is usually recommended to you by your own doctor, so if you wish to start FodMap-diet, you should go and see your own doctor.

FodMap-diet is almost like a cleansing diet too. You eat only good foods for your bowel and stomach, you get so much healthier so fast! I recommend it, but I wish I’d be able to eat all kinds of foods, so, maybe just stay in your current diet.
