Sun
The Sun is our nearest star, and it emits large amounts of bright light. This is why you should never look at the sky directly. It is especially dangerous to look at the Sun with binoculars. You can protect your vision during bright days by wearing sunglasses. 

Splatter
You should protect your eyes from splashes and splatters. Various chemicals can damage your eyes. Some of them can even lead to blindness if they come to contact with your corneas. If a chemical comes to contact with your eye, you should rinse the eye with plenty of running water. Do not rub your eyes. If you feel a pain in your eyes, you should go see a doctor.

Splinters
You should protect your eyes from splinters. Always wear protective glasses when drilling or sawing things. Metal drills are especially dangerous, as they send sharp metal flakes everywhere. 

Fireworks
Protect your eyes when looking at fireworks. A firework can sometimes change its direction and fly directly at your face.
