One of the most important skills in biology is to learn how to write a report. Report is a written document which explains what has been done and how and also what was the learning outcome. We write a report about fish dissection.

1. Firts list all equipment used in dissection. Write"Materials"as a heading.
2. Second explain step by step what was done during the dissection.
E.g. "Then the fish was opened with the scissors. The cutting had to be done with care to avoid breaking any organs".
Do not use we or I if possible. You can use the dissection worksheet as help. Write "Method" as a heading.
3. Third write what did you learn. You can make this heading yourself.
