Classes 3A, 3E, 1D and 1A on May 23rd went to the Lazio coast and collected plastic and other waste. 

To raise pupils' awareness of the protection of the sea and beaches,we organized a morning to clean up

 the Passoscuro beach in Fiumicino, within the Litorale Laziale Reserve.

The morning was dedicated to raising awareness on correct separate collection and then we dedicated ourselves

 to the actual collection of the waste present on the beach.

We found everything, cigarette butts, rubble, cans, glass fragments, disposable gloves, masks, fishing lines, hooks 

and above all plastic, it never dissolves and the impact on the marine ecosystem is devastating.

It was a sunny and windy day, after two years of pandemic restrictions, the pupils had a great time!
