Activity 1: Listening

In pairs or small groups, choose something to work on from one of these sites

• One person shows the text and/or plays the audio.
• The other person scrolls down to the questions.
• If you are playing the audio, be prepared to pause it occasionally to discuss the answers.
• If you have difficulty finding an answer, ask for help from me.
• At the end, post a link to it on Whatsapp and comment on whether it was useful for you.

For homework, you can try the activity that the other group did. For more speaking practice, do it with a friend. Remember that you might be able to slow down the audio to .75 or 0.8 so that it is easier to understand.

Individually, based on the theme from Activity 1, come up with 1-3 questions you'd like to ask your partner(s).
