The iron wire factory was founded in 1804 by Gustaf von Willebrand. The factory history dates back to 1804, when the manor was founded at Jokioinen. The manor founded the wrought iron smithery and over the decades the production transformed to its current form. Things such as raw materials necessary for hot-rolled wire were brought through the track. The iron wire factory is owned by Jarno Nummi.


The nail factory was founded in 1956. In the first year it produced 4, 000 pounds of nails. Pintos bought the nail factory in 2007. Jokioinen nail factory was closed in 2016. At the end of the 1800s the factory had about one hundred employees and later until the Second World War between 150 and 200. The nail factory had a number of departments and a number of different tasks. The factory had its greatest amount of workers in the 1920s and 1930s.
