Tässä osiossa perehdytään Suomeen maana ja kulttuurina, laadit esittelymateriaalia liikkuvuusjaksosi mahdollista kouluvierailua varten. Keräät samalla hyvää materiaalia ja tietoutta asioista, joista voit keskustella tulevien työtoveriesi ja vapaa-ajan tuttavien kanssa.

SCHOOL INTRODUCTION
The aim of this section is for you to create a short presentation, which you can use in the receiving school, when you introduce Lybecker Institute of Crafts and Design to them.
Make a short presentation of Lybecker and your own department. You can find information on the webpage of the school. In your presentation you should have for example:
- the number of students in Lybecker, in your department and class
- the different sectors in Lybecker
- the main subjects you are studying and what you do at school
- length of study programme
- tell about your work practise (where do you work and what do you do there)
Use pictures to show your department!

HOME TOWN INRODUCTION
The aim of this section is to give you enough information about your home town or the town where you are studying so that you can introduce it to the people you will be studying or working with in your new environment.
In your presentation write about the following:
The town
- location
- number of people
- sources of livelyhood
- main sights and places of interest
You can use for example the web page of your own town e.g. http://www.raahe.fi

Finland (Home country) introduction
The aim of this section is to give you enough information about Finland, your country of origin or both. You can introduce it to the people you will be studying or working with in your new environment.
In your presentation write about the following:
Collect information from the internet from here or here, books etc. and write a short presentation about Finland, where you tell at least the following:
- number of people
- surface area
- location, neighbouring countries
- the biggest cities
- something about history (independency, wars)
- political situation
- Finnish cuisine (recipes)
Also find out some Finnish special customs or events (things you don't find at all or not so often in other countries) here.
