Entrance exam

The entrance exam will be held in November.

A maximum of 25 students will be admitted to the bilingual class.

Students in Cygnaeus bilingual classes are admitted directly without taking the entrance exam. The remaining available places will be filled based on the students’ performance in the entrance exam.

Sections of the entrance exam:

1. English: Writing – 6 points
2. English: Interview – 6 points
3. English: Reading Comprehension – 6 points
4. English: Listening Comprehension – 6 points
5. Mathematics – 6 points (different tasks for different grade levels)
6. Finnish: Writing – 6 points
7. Finnish: Reading and Writing Comprehension – 6 points

Maximum score: 42 points

Admission to the class requires a minimum score of 21 points in the entrance exam.

In the event of a tie, the ranking will be determined based on the scores in the sections listed above, in the order presented. If students are still tied after this, the final selection will be made by drawing lots.

 

Pääsykoe

Pääsykoe pidetään marraskuussa 

Kaksikieliselle luokalle otetaan enintään 25 oppilasta.

Cygnaeuksen kaksikielisten luokkien oppilaat pääsevät luokalle suoraan ilman pääsykoetta. 

Kokeen osiot: 

1. Englanti: kirjoittaminen 6 p
2. Englanti: haastattelu 6 p
3. Englanti: luetun ymmärtäminen 6 p.
4. Englanti: kuullun ymmärtäminen 6 p
5. Matematiikka 6 p (eri tehtävät eri vuosiluokille)
6. Suomen kieli: tuottaminen 6 p
7. Suomen kieli: ymmärtäminen 6 p

Maksimipisteet: 42 p

Luokalle pääsy edellyttää pääsykokeista vähintään 21 pistettä. Tasapisteissä paremmuusjärjestyksen ratkaisee kokeiden pistemäärät edellä olevassa järjestyksessä. Mikäli tämän jälkeen on tasapisteissä olevia oppilaita, valinta tehdään arpomalla.
