In groups of 3-4 find out about famous people or events in different English speaking countries.
First choose a cultural area you're all interested in and then decide who does research on whom/what (1-2 / person). Search the internet for basic information (each exercise might have slightly different directions) and once the whole group is ready, share your findings on your subchannels.
