A) What different things can you see in the cartoon? > Make a list.
B) Try to put the picture to its historical context: The date? What are the historical events and appearances related to the picture? Who are the persons in the picture?
C) Consider the meanings (symbolic or concrete) of the different issues, accounts and persons you have found on the picture (A) and their relation to the historical context of the picture (B).
D) What could be the message and the motives of the cartoonist?
