My name is Thomas. I’m eleven years old and my birthday is on the twentieth of July. I’ve
got a father, a mother and a little sister. I live in small house. Behind our house we’ve got a
garden. We grow flowers and vegetables there.
My day starts at about seven, when we get up. My sister and I usually watch TV in our
pyjamas before breakfast. We have breakfast at half past seven. I have cereal and marmalade
on toast. I drink milk. After breakfast, my sister and I get dressed. We always wear school
uniforms to school. I wear grey trousers, a white shirt and a green sweatshirt.
My mum and dad go to work at eight o’clock. My dad is a mechanic and my mum is a
reporter. My sister and I walk to school. My favourite subjects at school are science and
history. I also like PE lessons – we often play football or do gymnastics.
